Getting Started with Insignio

We are proud to introduce Insignio, our custom-built app tool. Insignio offers a powerful mechanism for searching apps and lists, saving searches and sharing lists. With Insignio you can create and organize apps in a list, add notes to each app in a list, comment and rate apps, and be directed to Google Play and iTunes stores to purchase apps. Insignio allows users to access app reviews conducted by therapists and special education teachers. The BridgingApps review system was conceived using nationally recognized assessment tools and focuses on skill, not age or diagnosis.

Why are saved searches and lists important? Searching for apps can be confusing and overwhelming. Insignio shortcuts that process by allowing you to search for an app, identify apps you want to learn more about — and with the click of a button, save that search for future reference. If you use apps that you find helpful, you can create a list of those favorites, add notes about why you like them, how you use them and share that list with others. For example, if you are a teacher, you can compile your favorite math apps into a list and label it â€œVickiâ€™s Favorite Elementary Math Appsâ€. You can then share that resource with colleagues, parents of the students in your class and our online community. The possibilities are endless!
